Villa Zion is a special 78sq.m. holiday villa in Zante, a true gem in its own right. Villa Zion has been designed by the world famous architect T. Zeppos, who managed to achieve an elegant mixture of often contradictive emotions, like privacy and comfort, as well as a sense of freedom, simultaneously.

This superb two-bedroom holiday villa is perched on a hilltop in Zante and is part of a complex of 3 aesthetically similar housing accommodations within the same property. Villa Zion boasts lovely views over Ionian Sea from the open plan kitchen, the living room, the two bedrooms, the veranda, and the pool.

Interior

The interior design has succeeded in combining natural elements and textures, while retaining a modern, minimal design. Soft earth tones, shades of grey combined with wooden elements and finishings give off a very relaxing, comfortable tone. Villa Zion is truly a modern villa, complete with all modern amenities, which still succeeds in paying tribute to the local colour, tone and natural landscape of the area.

The centerpiece in Villa Zion is the natural light that shines through the large windows, one of the striking features of the villa.

The living room boasts a comfortable sofa with plenty of cushions for your full convenience, a large wooden dining table and an open plan kitchen, with adequate appliances and kitchenware to make tea, coffee, a meal or some snacks. Both bedrooms feature a double bed and boast eco-friendly Coco-Mat furnishings & mattresses.

Exterior

Outside on the patio of this holiday villa, which is your own special veranda complete with its own pool and sitting area, you will enjoy spectacular views over the area of Agios Nikolaos in Zante and the Ionian Sea merging with the sky beyond. A pergola will ensure that you remain cool and protected from the summer heat, should you wish to, and the pool will provide the ideal space for a glass of wine, cocktails or any cool refreshments while enjoying the superb views.

Whereabouts

Zante is one of the most exotic Greek Islands, boasting turquoise waters, sandy beaches and amazing natural landscapes.

By exploring the island of Zante you will come across picturesque hilltop villages, traditional monasteries, and quaint natural landscapes, while some of the island’s sandy beaches are also home to the endangered Caretta-Caretta species of sea turtles.

For those interested in a more historic aspect, Zante Island will not disappoint you. Strongly influenced by the Venetians, who called the island “Flower of the East” (Fiore di Levante) you will have the opportunity to visit the Venetian Castle, Saint Mark Square and the Post Byzantine Museum in the Town of Zante, among other historical sightseeing gems.

The holiday villa Zion is located on a hill, overlooking the Ionian Archipelagos, just above the famous Agios Nikolaos Beach in Zante. From the port of Agios Nikolaos you can also take boat rides to the world renowned ‘Shipwreck beach’ (Navagio Beach), as well as to Pesada, in Cefalonia.

Access

Guests will enjoy complete and exclusive access to all areas of the villa, its large verandas and pool, during their stay.

You can therefore choose to relax indoors or outdoors and enjoy the fantastic views in full comfort and privacy, at any time.

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Zante to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Zante.

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from the accommodation:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also, a short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• This accommodation’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect it accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
• A range of services can also be arranged on request: Daily cleaning and/or cooking staff, assistance regarding use of the facilities, Transportation & Chauffeur Services, Boat Charters and Trips and other Tailor Made Services. Please just ask.
