Pyrgos Santorini Villa Sena is part of a superbly renovated and interior-designed complex of 4 separate accommodation buildings, all positioned within a 15th century old traditional wine and tsipouro factory.

Minimal industrial lines have been fused with the local architectural style of the old winery by the architect in charge of this challenging task. Having had to work on this project for years, they made sure all the striking elements of this exceptional property were preserved, while the building was also renovated and equipped accordingly, in order to offer all high-end amenities and provisions of the modern era to its guests.

Villa Sena is on the lowest level of the complex. It is comfortably spread out over 141sqm. and wrapped around a private courtyard where the private Jacuzzi is also located. Villa Sena can accommodate 6 (+1) guests, who will certainly be left with a fond memory of their unique stay in this unique Santorinian building.

Interior

The villa offers unbeatable comfort and emits effortless elegance throughout. Industrially- themed elements, like the furniture and finishings are pleasantly contradicted by the whitewashed traditional designs that are typical of the Island, both indoors and outdoors.

Pyrgos Santorini Villa Sena includes two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds. There is one en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, one with a shower, and a separate WC. The fully equipped kitchen, which is located in the open plan living area, offers the full gamut of cooking utensils and utilities, in case you wish to dine indoors.

A range of high end provisions and amenities compliment all areas of the villa. Whether it is the organic mattresses by Coco Mat, the natural products of Korres, the amazing sound system by BOSE or the complimentary services that come with the villa, to name but a few, this is definitely one of the most inviting and impressive villas on the island.

Exterior

The exterior spaces of the villa are equally generous and impressive. Unique choices for alfresco arrangements are offered throughout the outdoor spaces.

The private 65sqm. courtyard of the villa comes with a private hot tub and a sleek outdoor industrial dining table for 10, so there is ample space for large gatherings and gastronomical feasts, if that is your game.

Whereabouts

Villa Sena is located in the traditional picturesque village of Pyrgos (meaning tower) Santorini, literally a ‘no cars-allowed’ zone.  The village is built amphitheatrically on a hill that offers magnificent views of the island in almost all directions. It is worth noting that it was once the first capital of the island. Its name was Kallisti (meaning the beautiful one) at the time. Need we say more?

The villa is situated in the “Voreina” (Northern) region, beneath the remains of the Venetian castle called ‘’Kasteli’’ located at the top of the hill. This area of the island has maintained all its traditional elements, boasting medieval narrow streets, fortified walls, and hidden passages, all combined with the unique Cycladic local architecture.

Pyrgos boasts a rich history and today is home to many taverns and wine bars, galleries and boutiques, not to mention amazing restored buildings. Some are available for visitors to book, and experience life here just as the locals did for centuries. All in all, Pyrgos is therefore a village rich in history and culture, widely celebrated and adored both by locals and visitors alike .

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Santorini to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Santorini.

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from the villa:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also, a short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• The villa’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect it accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
• A range of services can also be arranged on request: Daily cleaning and/or cooking staff, assistance regarding use of the facilities, Transportation & Chauffeur Services, Boat Charters and Trips and other Tailor Made Services. Please just ask.
