Interior

The actual interior space of Villa Astarti is a whopping 296 sq.m. Its very spacious living room on the ground floor boasts a fireplace, a large flat-screen TV with satellite reception, as well as one 4-seater and two 3-seater comfy sofas with full direct & unobstructed views towards the sea, through a large 5m-wide window.

The dining area boasts a large & stylish 10-person dining table, which quickly converts to a fantastic snooker/billiards table, and a ping-pong table. The villa includes 2 more comfortably spaced bedrooms on the ground floor: one double bedroom and one more bedroom equipped with 2 queen size beds, each with their own flat-screen TV.

It also boasts a fully equipped kitchen complete with all modern amenities including all kitchenware and cookware required, serving equipment, ceramic stoves, oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee and espresso machines, toaster, sandwich toaster, kettle, paper towels, kitchen paper, sponges & soap. A washing machine, ironing board and iron are also included.

On the ground floor there is also one large bathroom complete with its own bathtub, a haidryer, towels & toiletries, and a separate WC for your convenience.

Free WiFi is available throughout all areas of the building.

The master bedroom is located on the 1st floor and boasts its own small living room-type space complete with its own fireplace & walk-in closet, as well as its own en-suite bathroom with two sinks and a Jacuzzi. The unobstructed direct views of the Aegean Sea and coast you can enjoy from the master bedroom, are simply astonishing.

Exterior

Villa ‘Astarti’ is built on a private luscious 6000sq.m. estate, independent with its own built fence surrounding the estate, accessible through a private gate controlled by a remote control.

It boasts a private large ‘indoor’/covered veranda with its own BBQ area, dining area and sitting area.

Villa Astarti also boasts a massive 250sqm. outdoor veranda, with its own fairly-sized 3.5m x 5.5m swimming pool boasting direct views towards the sea, which is disinfected ecologically by using salt-electrolytes rather than the chemical chlorine. The veranda includes reclining chairs and umbrellas for shade & outdoor sitting and dining areas complete with their own furniture.

The Area

Villa Astarti is located on a hill in the ‘Tzane’ area, only about 2km away from the famous ‘Golden Coast’ (‘Chrissi Akti’) beach of Paros. The area mostly includes summer villas inhabited during the summer season, and some local residents’ homes. The nearest beach is in fact the Golden Coast, a super famous beach which takes its name from the fine golden-coloured sand it boasts from start to end.

As the beach is large it can cater to many tastes and crowds. Hence it is famous for families who can find peace & quiet in parts of it (and children can play in the sand and swim in the clear turqouise water), as well as bachelors looking to enjoy some music and cocktails, as there are some very tasteful beach bars in separate parts of the beach. The Golden Coast is also extremely liked and known among beach sports enthusiasts, with a strong dedicated international crowd of windsurfers, kite surfers & diving enthusiasts among others. Several beach sports schools and rental facilities can cater to anyone interested, and there are many tavernas, beach bars and snacking facilities along the coast so you can enjoy any sort of meal you desire.

At a distance of about 2km from the villa you will find the picturesque village of ‘Drios’, with its own tavernas, restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as a super market and a pharmacy, to cater to all your needs.

Guest Access

Guests will have complete and exclusive access to all areas of the villa, the large verandas, the garage and the luscious garden during their stay. You can choose to relax indoors in the living room or on the verandas, the pool and any other outdoor sitting areas at any time and enjoy the many facilities the villa offers.

Guest Interaction

A host will be available for whatever you may need. Your host is known to be quite good with giving ‘insider’ knowledge to guests with regards to the best places to eat, drink, swim or visit!

Getting around

The house is on a hill, about 2 km above the famous ‘Golden Coast’ beach of Paros. There may be a bus service running from the main road to other parts of the island and the port of Parikia, however getting to the main road can be a hassle, the itinerary can often be infrequent and untimely.

We strongly recommend that you rent a car for the duration of your stay. This will enable you to experience the diverse beauty permeating the whole island of Paros, and discover its hideaways, magnificent contradictions and surprises.

Other things to Note

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law. During the following hours there should be no disturbing or excessive noise; coming from the villa or its surrounding plot of land:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also a short-term rental agreement has to be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• Utilising the finest materials, this villa has been refurbished and interior designed with care. We expect you to respect the villa accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, any additional charges will be claimed.
• Upon request we can arrange for daily cleaning at an extra cost.
