Villa Fenia is a slow living estate of 23 acres in total, located in Zakynthos. The villa features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 WC, a swimming pool, BBQ area, a fully equipped kitchen, parking, multiple exterior terraces, and relaxing spots, as well as a mountain and sunset view! It’s goal is to enlighten its guests about the advantages of immersing themselves in nature, embracing the principles of slow living, recognizing the significance of sustainable travel, and fostering respect for local culture.

Interior

The building comprises two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room. Windows in all rooms provide garden views, along with new aluminum soundproofing shutters and flyscreens. Each room features new air conditioning, smoke detectors, and access to various exterior areas. Additionally, a WC is conveniently located on the ground floor.

Moving to the first floor, you will discover three bedrooms, each equipped with large soundproof windows and flyscreens. All rooms feature smoke detectors and air conditioning. The first room on the right boasts an ensuite bathroom, while the other two rooms share a spacious bathroom on the same floor. The first floor also offers its own balcony with a magnificent view of the mountains, garden, and swimming pool.

The interior design, along with the color palette, has been meticulously curated by two members of our family, paying homage to local Mediterranean architecture and design. Our grandmother, a renowned painter, has contributed all the artwork adorning the house. Additionally, a significant portion of the furniture has been lovingly restored by hand, and the majority of the materials used are sourced from local artisans.

Exterior

The villa’s outdoor area measures 23 acres, where you can enjoy your daily walk and features a private swimming pool surrounded by a carefully tended garden and evergreen olive trees, as well as a portable BBQ and an organic garden with fresh vegetables and fruits – you can ask us for any vegetable or fruit you want from the garden, and the next morning you will have it by your door! This Zakynthos slow living villa offers its guests a wide variety of amenities and facilities, such as Wi-Fi, safety deposit box, welcome basket, sun loungers, private parking, 24-hour hot water supply and many more.

Whereabouts

Zakynthos is one of the most exotic Greek Islands, boasting turquoise waters, sandy beaches and amazing natural landscapes.

By exploring the island of Zakynthos you will come across picturesque hilltop villages, traditional monasteries, and naturally quaint landscapes while some of the island’s beaches are also home to the endangered Caretta-Caretta species of sea turtles.

For those interested in a more historic aspect, Zakynthos Island will not disappoint you. Strongly influenced by the Venetians, who called the island “Flower of the East” (Fiore di Levante) you will have the opportunity to visit the Venetian Castle, Saint Mark Squar and the Post Byzantine Museum in the Town of Zante, amongst other architectural and historical sightseeing gems.

The location o Villa Fenia is ideal for exploring the town as it is just 7-10 minute drive. The location of the villa also offers relation.

Access

Guests will enjoy complete and exclusive access to all areas of this Zakynthos slow living villa, the large verandas and pools, during their stay in Zakynthos.

You can therefore choose to relax indoors or outdoors and enjoy the fantastic views in full comfort and privacy, at any time.

Directions & Getting Around

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Zakynthos to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Zakynthos.

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from the accommodation:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also, a short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• This accommodation’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect it accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
• A range of services can also be arranged on request: Daily cleaning and/or cooking staff, assistance regarding use of the facilities, Transportation & Chauffeur Services, Boat Charters and Trips and other Tailor Made Services. Please just ask.
