The French owners fell in love with the island of Tinos many years ago. Over the years they sought and found the right piece of land, visitied and re-visited in all the seasons to get a feel for how it responds to its location. They worked with the award winning local architect Aristides Dallas and together they created a spectacular home that responds directly to the environment with an emphasis on connecting the inside to the outside via immense sliding glass doors and picture windows framing the volcanic rocks on the property.

The villa

Enjoy the rare good fortune of watching both the sun dawning over Mykonos espresso in hand in the morning, and then setting into the sea over Syros each evening, with unparalleled infinite sea views.

Interior

An extremely well appointed vacation rental, foodies will delight in the perfectly set up cook’s kitchen and spacious dining areas, both inside and out.

Three lovely and spacious bedrooms, all with Cycladic-style ensuite bathrooms and specialty rain-shower heads designed to mimic the soft fall of a tropical shower – wonderful after a long day at the beach! All bedrooms have floor to ceiling glass windows facing the sea and direct access to the outside for those that want the freedom of coming and going in privacy. Spacious wardrobes, extra pillows, hotel quality beds and linens ensure your home away from home is relaxed, yet luxurious.

Whereabouts

The magnificent Villa Arpa is located only 4 km from Tinos Town and Port, off the beaten path in a peaceful, sparsely built area.

The enclave above Lia Beach is wonderfully secluded with only a few private properties to share your view. While secluded, the property is only 10 mins drive to downtown Chora for shopping, ATMs, eateries and amenities. 200 metres from the house, visitors can swim in the healing Aegean Sea or choose to drive a few short minutes to nearby popular sandy beaches of Agios Ioannis, Agios Sostis, and Agios Fokas with the choice of lively beach clubs or quiet family friendly areas.

Just 1km away from Villa Arpa in Tinos a spacious heliport is available for those wanting to reach the island via helicopter.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the rugged nature of the surrounding hills, walking to the beach is only for the fit and adventurous. We recommend driving in air-conditioned comfort to the beach.

Access

Guests will have complete and exclusive access to all areas of the Villa Arpa in Tinos during their stay.

You can therefore choose to relax indoors or outdoors, at any time.

Directions & Getting Around

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Tinos to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Tinos.

Please note: We recommend the rental of an SUV or similar vehicle for those unused to driving on unmade roads in Greece.

Important Notes

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from the villa or its surrounding plot of land:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). A short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• The villa’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect the villa accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
• A range of services can also be arranged on request: Daily cleaning and/or cooking staff, assistance regarding use of the facilities, Transportation & Chauffeur Services, Boat Charters and Trips and other Tailor Made Services. Please just ask.

• The security deposit is handed in cash upon arrival and returned in cash after villa inspection upon departure
